10 miles after work....
This evening I did a 'good' run (well it felt good to complete it; it wasn't that great during it as I felt very tired!) but the good news is 'I did it' and its another good run under my belt and it means that so far this week I have managed to stay on top of my training plan. Tomorrow is a rest day and then hopefully on Friday I will get to do a steady 6 miles with a few speed bursts...
P.S. My apologies for not posting over the past few weeks - things have been rather busy so unfortunately my blog has had to take a back seat! However from now on I will endeavour to blog at least every couple of days to keep you all posted on my training 'highs and lows'!

Nice to see you back again Charlotte. Be sure not to disappear again! I found myself in MK in the summer and being early for an appointment, had a walk around Willen Lake! A lovely place to run all right. (I see I blogged it on 8th Aug).

Cheers Roy - good to hear from you. I read that you had left Ireland; what are you up to these days and how is the running going? Best, Charlotte
P.S. I run around Willen Lake a lot; I am lucky enough to live close enough (2.5 miles to run there) so it is a good training route of mine. If you are ever in MK again let me know and we can run it together!
Back in Jersey sorting my life out! However I hope to run the Cork Marathon on 7th June and then get back up to see some of the young athletes I was coaching at Crusaders AC in Dublin.
I'll take you up on the offer if I'm around MK but no such plans at present.
Take care.
